Throw a fashion show. That was his task.

I can do that, Sterling had thought.

The Icelandic stallion had already secured the where: a huge old stone barn. The inside had been a disaster when he found it. After a good thorough cleaning, he had a small catwalk and spotlight installed before he set to work on decorating.

When the horse finished, he couldn't help but be proud of his work.

Twinkle lights were wrapped around all the rafters and supporting beams. He had fishbowls lined all the way down both sides of the catwalk, each one filled with water and had a lit tea candle floating in it. He had faux walls put in on the back side of the catwalk so that everyone could change in private and had clothes, so many clothes. Of every type, style, color, size. Anything you could think of.

Sterling's mane and tail were done up so that they fell in a cascade of waves. And he was donning a black bowtie.

He gave the room one last look before he threw open the barn doors and whinnied, "Sterling's Fashion Gala Extravaganza has begun!"

"Well come on in, Jenshi! Pick yourself out some clothes you'd like to wear and strut your stuff." Sterling ushered the canine inside.

This was going to be a lot of fun, the stallion just hoped that more would show up.

If horses could blush, Sterling certainly would have at Francis's compliment, "Th-thank you." He wasn't used to compliments, and it was unlike him to not be confident.

Shaking himself out of it, he smiled at Leon, "Come in, Leon. Of course it's a competition, but its a friendly one. There will be several titles given at the end of the gala: Best Dressed, Worst Dressed, Silliest Get-Up, Fancy Schmancy, and Modernist Chic. Just try on stuff and have fun!"

Of course Sterling had been patrolling the opposite border when the Exilers charged into his Clan. But he made it back in time to help fight for it. He saw his leader being attacked and the stallion charged the enemy before whipping around and using his two back hooves, aimed a powerful kick at Circusclown.

Sterling wasn't aware he was was being targeted from the skies until almost too late. Rearing up onto his back legs to meet the big cat, he lashed out with his front hooves, hoping to score a kick as she collided with him. He flattened his ears and bared his teeth, prepared to bite the winged lioness if he had too.

"You don't have to wear a dress, Lucina! You can model whatever clothes you feel like. I have loads of different options! Sterling said pointing in the direction of behind the catwalk before looking at Leo , "The goal is to have fun! You dont have to look like a pretty princess, you goof."

Charging through the raid, Sterling caught sight of the Dragon about to take a chomp out of Leon. The stallion may not be as big as the Dragon but he could most definitely move with speed and cause a dent. The white horse flattened his ears and bared his teeth and launch himself at Bayonetta. With his front two hooves, the stallion reared up and lashed out. Aiming to knock the Dragon off of his clanmate with a powerful kick. He then raced away, hoping that Leon could handle himself from there.

Sensing the electricity arcing his way, the stallion leaped out of the way.

"That was awfully rude," he snorted at the dragons. Sterling hated dragons, just a haughty species that never played fair. Once he showed the reptiles his true form, he'd be able to play fair with them, but he didn't know how to access those powers just yet. Therefore, the white stallion continued galloping, looking for any allies or clanmates consulates in need of help.

~//um *cough* I totally ship y'all. Just saying

Sterling had been feeling pretty rough since the raid on The Exiles himself. Sore, and there were some nasty scratches from this flying lion thing that tackled him, luckily they wouldn't scar, not that he really cared if they did. But he saw the pregnant female lying down, same as Leon, and he moved closer and nosed the female with his muzzle as a comforting gesture. The stallion laid down amd looked up at the wolf, "I think we're ready."

Sterling snorted out his laughter this time. He was a flirt too, "Oh don't worry, I'm not interested in the female gender, darling, so no competition. But I am thoughtful, and Alice has been through a lot, and your horndog self is gonna sit on this side of me. I can handle your advances and not kill you. She might not." He sent a wink to the canine.

Sterling nosed the pregnant canine again, "They're right, if you'd like to be alone, we can all leave."

Sterling knew what it was like to just want to be left alone sometimes.

All day Sterling had had the worst headache of his life. It was like something was stabbing from inside his skull trying to escape. The stallion couldn't even get up off the ground, the pain was just too intense. He'd been laying like that in his small barn home since he'd woken up.

    Something was happening. Something important.

In the furthest corners of his memory, he could vaguely remember his mother telling him that when he reached a certain age, that something magical would happen. But that was all he could remember.

If this was magical, Sterling wasn't sure he wanted anything to do with it.

The white horse tried to smile in greeting to his two clanmates, but all that came out of it was a grimace. He hated how vulnerable and weak he looked lying on his side, unable to move. So he had to settle for sending them appreciative look.

And then, though Sterling had thought it impossible, the pain intensified, gravitating towards his forehead. A moan slipped from the back of his throat and out his lips. What was happening to him?

The pain slices through Sterling's forehead, and this time he actually feels something breaking through his skin. He's never felt pain so intense in his life. He can't see what's happening or growing from his head because his eyes are on the side of his face but he can feel it elongating.

About three minutes into, a flash brighter than a supernova blinds the horse and the pain worsens, it's so much that the equine blacks out.

When he comes too, the pain is gone. And as he gazes around the room, he notices that something is different. Flowering vines are growing on the walls and ceiling, blooming bright pink and blue flowers. The air smells cleaner, sweeter, as if it it had been purified.

Sterling isn't sure how. And he doesn't know why. But somehow he knows that if he were to look in the mirror he would find a horn spiraling out from the center of his forehead. And he can feel magic, raw nature and healing magic, coursing through his veins gravitating towards his new horn.

Glancing around the room at his gathered clanmates, a small and embarrassed smile on his face.

    "Soooo...um.."

    The white unicorn smiles widely.

"I-I'm alright. The pain is completely gone. I feel better than I have in a very long time," He assures the group, "And I'm not really sure what I can do. I can feel the magic inside of me. It's really weird."

Sterling knew he could help this injured tiger. But he also wasn't technically in the Medical field yet. But his recent transformation gifted him with healing magic. He wasn't sure he could grow the young cat's legs back, he wasn't experienced enough with his magic yet, but he did know he could stop the bleeding.

"I can stop the bleeding if you'd like?" He whinnied to the poor young tiger and to Mary.

Sterling considered himself friends with Alice. He truly did care for the pregnant canine. Seeing her all up in a hormonal tizzle did not make him happy. So while he couldn't control her hormones, he could at least clean her up. The unicorn willed an orb of water into existence and made it stream from his horn to the canine, making it wipe away all the blood from her face before disappearing into the ground.

"While I cant fix everything, darling, I can at least prepare you so that you can face today clean." He whinnied.
